Kolo Toure is joining the Eastlands revolutions to join his teammate Adebayour there. It is heard Toure is joining Manchester City with a transfer fee of 16 million pounds. And this takes the summer spending of City to a whooping 95 million pounds. Toure is expected to sign a four year deal if he passes the medical test there. The Citizens are looking at their backline after strenghthening their forward line to one of the best in EPL. After their failed bid to sign John Terry they will try their luck on Everton centre back Lescott. With all these spendings Manchester City is becoming a heavy contender for at least a top four finish which had been locked between the so-called big four in the last few years. At last it is now official and Samuel Eto'o and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are presented in each others club. It is said that Eto'o was priced at 20 million euro while Zlatan was sold for 67.5 million euro. Barcelona paid 43.25 m in cash along with Samuel Eto'o and also included Alex Hleb for a one year loan. It is heard that the Blaugranas will pay 70 per cent of Hleb's fees while he plays for Inter.
While Zlatan said he is not in Barca to replace Eto'o, the Cameroonian also reflected similar views that he should not be marked as next Ibra for Inter.
However the Barca fans may not see Ibra in action with the team untill mid-august as he is going to have a surgery on his rist fractured during practice match against Chelsea. It is expected he will be on field against Manchester City in the gamper Cup on 19th August.
It is a big debate which team is in profit from this transfer with both performing well for their teams. But finally one of the most talked about transfer of the season was completed at last.
The players on whom we can still put eye are Xabi Alonso, Arbeloa, Kolo Toure and most probably Cesc Fabregas.
