[football] Nehru Cup: Lebanon Plays Draw With Kyrgyzstan

Lebanon's flying start to the Nehru Cup by winning over defending champions and hosts India did not materialise into a success as was expected. After losing to Sri Lanka in a thriller they now came from behind to draw with bottom team Kyrgyzstan today.
Kyrgyzstan scored the first goal just after the break when Anton Zemlianuhin fired a shot from outside the penalty box. However, Lebanon equalised within eight minutes as Abbas Ahmed Atwi scored from a Mahmoud El Ali pass at the 58th minute. The Lebanese tried to gain the lead for the rest half an hour but could not be successful in getting to the net. Tomorrow India will face Sri Lanka in an important match that will be a deciding factor in getting the finalists.
