According to a report in the English newspaper the Sun, Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar will have to sit out the starting months of the EPL. The Dutchman suffered an injury during their tiebreaker loss in the Audi Cup final against Bayern Munich in end July. A scan has revealed that he has two fractures in his left paw. Possibly it will take around eight weeks for him to come back to save the Red Devils goal post. The veteran dutchman has one more year left in his contract.
It is thought that British goalkeeper Ben Foster will have the chance to take the responsibility of protecting the Man U fort during his absence.
