Indian goalkeeper Baljit Singh is recovering well from his injury in the right eye. However he has to wait around three months to get further report on whether he can continue playing hockey.Baljit went to the USA to get a second opinion about his eye after he was operated upon in New Delhi. There he was operated under the vigilance of opthalmologist Robert Morris in Alabama when the John Hopkins hospital in Baltimore could not ensure him regaining complete vision. Dr Morris has asked Indian custodian to meet him in case any problem arises. Baljit says he is fine and is having just a little bit irritation and pain in the eye.
It may be remembered that Baljit was injured in an accident when prasticicng with golf ball with the Indian team just before the team went on the European tour. He had an emergency operation in the AIIMS in New Delhi.
