[football] Snehasish Chakrabarty Transfer Saga Continues

Noted medio Snehasish Chakraborty would move All India Football Federation if Indian Football Association (IFA) failed to solve the dispute regarding his transfer to Mohun Bagan from East Bengal this season.

Players Status Committee of IFA which met on Saturday failed to reach any decision. Head of the Players Status Committee of IFA Pradip Bose said they would meet again on July 23.

But East Bengal authorities, represented by Treasurer Kallol Bose, said Snehasish has a contract to play for the club this season.

Denying this, Snehasish alleged that his signature in the contract paper was forged. IFA has decided to verify his signature by an expert before they meet again on July 23.

Snehasish who was present at the meeting said if he did not get the verdict from IFA in his favour, he would move to All India Football Federation for justice.

Snehasish, who played for East Bengal and displayed good form last year, wanted to play for Mohun Bagan this season.
