Indian hockey team's number one goalkeeper Baljit Singh who suffered a devastating eye injury this saturday has his eye operated and is in stable state. The doctors reject to make any comment on the future of the goalkeeper. It is hoped that the situation will be clear in a few days. It is feared that he may not regain full vision in the eye.
The Indian custodian was injured in the right eye during a golf ball practice session. It is being said that he did not wear the proper helmet for that.
